BERKELEY DANCE COMMUNITY

The Berkeley Dance Community (BDC) is an official open organization that represents over 25 UC Berkeley student dance organizations. We are proud of our diverse community of dance forms and cultures, and we foster a greater sense of camaraderie among members of all creeds, beliefs, identities, and socio-economic backgrounds through dance. Starting this 2024-2025 school year, BDC will be logistically separate from ASUC and an ASUC Senate Office. This academic year, we will be facilitating conversations among organization leadership to advocate for increased accessibility to free dance space, while also increasing efforts to connect with local community groups to spread BDC’s impact beyond campus.
